Day 1
- Meeting with our representative at the airport or, if you come by car, the place will be determined.
- Departure to Subotica, the second largest city of Vojvodina near the Hungarian border, known as the "European port".
- Accommodation in the hotel and a short rest.
- In the evening, visit to Subotica downtown.
- Dinner at a restaurant downtown with the first tasting of local wines.
- Overnight stay.
Day 2
- Breakfast.
- Tour the beautiful city center of Subotica, the historic Town Hall, the two fountains (blue and green) and the Catholic and Orthodox cathedrals.
- Departure towards the Palic Lake. Brief visit to the lake and its surrounding park.
- Followed by the first tasting of the winery Palic, which preserves the old tradition of "sand" wines, founded in 1896 by Count Leopold Rohonci and today known as WOW Winery. Here we can taste the Pinot Gray, white and black, Chardonnay, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon.
- At lunchtime, in addition to the delicious dishes, you can sample traditional western Vojvodina Hungarian specialties.
- After lunch, drive to the beautiful "salas Djordjevic", rustic and charming ambient of the local folk traditions. More tasting- the classic Chardonnay, Merlot and Italian Riesling.
- We will taste local wines produced always from old native vines in these sandy areas. Dinner with traditional dishes and folk music of gypsy violins, until late evening.
