Day 1

  • Meeting the agency representative.
  • Departure to Smederevo, where we will, after checking into the hotel, visit the old city – the last medieval center of Serbia and one of the biggest fortresses on a plain in the whole Europe.
  • Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2

  • Breakfast.
  • Tour of the town, with sightseeing of important cultural buildings, such are Church of the Ascension (Uspenjska crkva), Saint George Temple (Hram Sv. Đorđa), City Hall (Gradska Kuca), etc.
  • Departure to the town of Golubac which is on the very border with Đerdap National Park.
  • Checking into the hotel and lunch.
  • Panoramic tour of the town and its surroundings on a boat, with beautiful view of Golubac Fortress (Golubacka tvrdjava) that towers above the Danube.
  • Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3

  • Breakfast and the whole day dedicated to the National Park.
  • Visit to the medieval monastery of Tumane.
  • Stroll along the walking paths in the Park, from which, through the lush, green vegetation, there is a view of the canyon ravines and foaming cascades.
  • Lunch at an old salaš (country estate), with short presentation on beliefs and customs of ancient Vlahs, first inhabitants of the Balkan Peninsula, famous for their mysticism.
  • Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4

  • Breakfast.
  • Another day dedicated to the National Park symbol, wonderful Đerdapska Gorge (Đerdapska klisura), known as 'The Iron Gate’ that the Danube carved through the Carpathian Mountains on its way to the Black Sea.
  • After the boat trip, picnic and the rest of the tour.
  • In the evening, return to the hotel and overnight stay.
  • Day 5

    • Breakfast
    • Visit to prehistoric archaeological site Lepenski Vir that tells about rich cultural, social and religious life of this civilization.
    • Lunch and trip to Felix Romuliana archeological site, a magnificent palace of the Roman emperor Galerius Valerius Maximianus, one of the most important monuments of the Late Roman Empire period, under the protection of UNESCO.
    • Checking into the hotel.
    • Free time, dinner and overnight stay.

    Day 6

    • Breakfast.
    • Learning about numerous caves in this area; Lazareva Cave (Lazareva pećina) especially stands out. It is a speleological pearl over 8 km long.
    • Return to the hotel, lunch and departure to Belgrade.
    • Checking into the hotel.
    • Short 'rakija tour'. Following the trail of this aromatic national spirit, we will meet the most interesting parts of the city, like the famous bohemian neighborhood of Skadarlija, where we will have dinner.
    • Return to the hotel and overnight stay.

    Day 7

    • After breakfast, parting and end of our services
