Apart from that, a number of different types of birds that share the territory with this beautiful bird can be watched; those are all types of heron (white, grey and red), geese (bean goose, wild and white-fronted goose) and most European ducks. Also, there are bittern, cormorants, grebes, night herons, king swans and numerous types of birds of prey, which will fill the three days with exciting moments. Municipality of Mokrin is an established protected zone of several square kilometers, inhabited by a population of great bustards (otis tarda). With some luck, we will be able to approach this prairie bird and photograph it. This is the world’s largest flying bird, and it can weigh over 20 kg.
