Long Tour Vojvodina

Bird watching includes any activity with the goal of observing birds in the wild. Every year, many birdwatchers scour the globe for rare species or those not found in their natural environment.

Equipped with binoculars, cameras and other gear, they represent one of the most important (and constantly developing) branches of ecological tourism and a large, ecotoursim movement which is present in many countries worldwide. Birdwatchers both support and assist in regional development, and the protection of the very birds they observe. And this is not limited to professional birdwatchers; the number of armatures who visit different areas in the hope of enjoying all that nature has to offer is also growing.

For this reason the Novo Levante Agency recommends a program suitable for both categories.

Serbia is a country rich in both habitats for, and species of birds. This birds and their habitats are of both national and international interest. In the Vojvodina region of Serbia, 312 species of birds have been observed. This number represents over half of all species found in Europe. Due to the fact that Vojvodina has not been subjected to currents of mass-tourism, it remains (along with Bulgaria and Romania) an ideal region for ecotourism.

In addition to bird watching, we recommend organized photo-safaris because of the opportunity to see: golden jackals, racoons, wild cats, wild pigs, mouflon, does, European deer, white-tailed deer, fallow deer, and beavers.
